MISSION STATEMENT

To respect the individual as a valued member of the community and to support independent living for older adults and persons with special needs. A team of professional staff and dedicated volunteers offer progressive programs and services in a welcoming environment.

Our Goals

To provide programs and community support services for seniors and adults with special needs.
To assist seniors and adults with special needs to maintain independence in the community by providing holistic programs and related services.
To support caregivers by providing respite care.
To identify client and caregiver needs and make referrals to resources, if needed.
To work cooperatively and to network with other community agencies and associations in planning and delivering long term care services.
To promote awareness of the Day Centres' activities.
To establish strong Board representation in the areas served.

Who We Serve

Persons coping with the debilitating effects of dementia such as Alzheimer Disease.
Frail elderly.
Persons with chronic conditions such as stroke, heart disease, Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis.
Developmentally challenged persons who cannot attend jobs in the community or workshops due to the effects of aging.
Persons with acquired brain injury.
Persons with mobility challenges who require walkers and wheelchairs.
Caregivers for all of the above.
